NORTHERN ROCKIES GACC
Weather — Northern Idaho: Sunday was dry and breezy with lighter winds gusting near 15 mph; afternoon RH dropped to around or just below 20%. High clouds move in tonight as moisture increases aloft, but no precipitation is expected. Monday is slightly warmer and drier, temperatures peaking near 80°F, with light terrain-driven winds. The warming trend continues through midweek with minimum RH in the low-to-mid 20s. Monsoonal moisture increases late in the week, returning showers and thunderstorm chances. Idaho is seeing significant smoke impact from the Oregon fires.
Northern Rockies GACC summary: PL 3 — 4 incidents, 2,410 cumulative acres, 654 total personnel (18 crews, 28 engines, 3 helicopters), +109 personnel. New fires yesterday: 14. Uncontained large fires: 2. Fires/acres yesterday: 14 fires / 225 acres.
Year-to-date (Northern Rockies): 1,141 fires / 33,003 acres.

GREAT BASIN GACC
Weather — Southern Idaho: Hot and dry conditions continue, with triple-digit temperatures near Boise and a heat advisory expanded into parts of northern Nevada, northern Utah, and southern Idaho. Minimum RH remains in the teens across the western basin today, mixed with wet and dry thunderstorms bringing lightning and gusty outflow winds — an initial-attack concern. Tomorrow brings slightly lower temperatures (upper 90s), higher RH (20–25%), and breezier conditions across central Idaho following the storms — flagged as an area to watch, though not a low-RH/high-wind alignment. Heavy smoke impacts from Oregon fires across the northern half of the basin.
Great Basin GACC summary: PL 4 — 12 incidents, 302,678 cumulative acres, 2,193 total personnel (37 crews, 82 engines, 23 helicopters), −300 personnel. New fires yesterday: 27. Uncontained large fires: 5. Fires/acres yesterday: 27 fires / 939 acres.
